Mom cake

Mom cake is the old-fashioned recipe but the cake is very tasty. The cake is very sweet and I can not eat a lot, but truly enjoy in every bite.

For  Mom cake crust first beat eggs with sugar, then add the flour, ground walnuts and bread crumbs. Mixture pour into a greased and sprinkled with flour baking casserole and bake the crust in a preheated oven at 180°C.

For filling, on steam mix powdered sugar and egg yolks. Add ground biscuits, ground walnuts and orange juice. When the mixture is litlle cool, add whipped margarine.

Put sugar to cook with a little water.. You cook it until it becomes a thick sugar syrup.

For the glaze, beat the egg whites and sugar in a sturdy snow then add a tablespoon by tablespoon sugar syrup.

On the cooled crust put filling, glaze and garnish with minced nuts or grated chocolate.

Mom cake put in the fridge to little squeeze and then serve.

Ideal goes with a glass of water or a morning coffee with newspapers.
