Lemon syrup is full of vitamin C, and that is why it is a good choice to drink it in winter. But this drink also is great in summer as refreshing drink.
In a blender grind the lemons.
In a bowl put sugar, lemon extract and water. Mix everything well and then add the lemons.
Allow the syrup to rest for 24 hours, stirring occasionally.
Strain the syrup on small or large grid. Depending on if you like or dislike the pieces of lemon in your juice.
Pour the syrup into two bottles and keep it in a cool and dark place. (for example basement)
Lemon syrup is served cold.
