Greek mushrooms appetizer can be served as an appetizer or side dish to the main course, mushrooms are certainly tastes great.
Peel and chop the onion finely. In a pan, heat the olive oil fry the onion for about 5 minutes and then add the wine and a little water, pepper, salt, add the bay leaf and thyme. When it boils, add tomato paste and sugar. Reduce the heat to minimum and leave to cook for 15 min. Add mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes. If you want you can put a little bit of parsley above.
