If there is one thing you’ll most certainly enjoy if you are a cheese fan than that would be fried cheese balls. They are simply made, won’t require too much time but be careful – they have lots of calories.
Mix the egg, cheese, flour and a little water in a deeper bowl. Form the mixture you’ve made into balls and place them into the fridge for about 45 minutes.
When the cheese balls are cold and harden, roll them into the flour and fry in hot oil. They should be covered in oil while frying (to imitate the fryer). When the balls get reddish –they are done. To free from too much oil – drain the cheese balls on a paper towel.
This appetizer should be served hot and sprinkled with some lemon juice.
