Fantasy la Canak

This cake won first place in an international competition in Turkey, in jury was the main cook of the White House. Recipe Fantasy la Canak is a work of Ivanka Krstičević, which combines confectionery ingredients and wines that bind to Vojvodina (Serbia, Balkan).

Base: on low heat melt litlle butter with 5 spoons of sugar. Remove, litlle cooldown mixture. During that time (cooling), fry over low heat 10 tablespoons sugar. Pour the sugar in mixture and quickly stir. Finally, add ground walnuts.

Make liner of dark chocolate and honey.

Poppy and vanilla pudding are cooked together and they give a nice cream full of flavor.

Cherries should be cooked with aromatic “Bermet” until the mixture boils.

When all are cooled, liner place on the base, then fill them with vanilla cream and poppy. Cherries are added on top of desserts and served on the side. If you want add mint sprig.

Fantasy la Canak serve with strong dishes perhaps with venison.
