Slavonian pizza recipe

This is a Slavonian (part of Croatia) version of the classic pizza recipe. Stuffing for Slavonian pizza is abundant with ham, sausage and bacon, and for the level of spiciness you can adjust it to suit your own taste.

Put the yeast in 2-3 tablespoons of hot water, add sugar and let rest for about 5 minutes in a warm place. Put the flour in a bowl; add salt, olive oil and the yeast. Knead the dough slowly adding hot water to the mix. Cover the dough for the Slavonian pizza and let it rise in a warm area, until it doubles in volume (about 30 minutes).

Coat the baking tray (Ø 33cm) with a good amount of olive oil. Take out the raised dough and roll it out to fit the baking tray.

In the pizza sauce add oregano, a little bit of sugar, a pinch of salt, pepper and stir well.
Coat the pizza dough with the prepared pizza sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese. Place the ham (cut into strips) on the dough, thinly sliced sausage and hamburger meat and pepperoni. In the middle of the pizza put 1 egg.
Bake for about 10 minutes on 250°C (500°F).

Tip: If you want a really spicy and hot pizza, mix in the pizza sauce a little bit of chili powder.

Serve the Slavonian pizza immediately after bakeking.
