Homemade sausage in beer is a recipe for all the lovers of homemade sausage and beer, and there are many lovers like that on continental Balkan, and we believe in the world too. 😀 We have used Balkans homemade sausage that is made of the meat of Mangalica pigs. Of course, for the preparation of this meal you can use homemade sausages made of regular pork.
Preparation of homemade sausage in beer
Bend the sausage in circle and stab it with toothpicks.
Chop onions (young), and carrot and onion peel and chop.
Put oil in casserole and spread the potato and carrot and on top of them put sausages. Pour 1dl of beer over all of that.
Bake in heated oven at 200 degrees. After 20 minutes place previously chopped onion and pour 1dl of beer over it. While baking occasionally roll over the sausages so they get evenly baked and so that they get even red color. Spread chopped parsley over the finished meal (if you desire).
Of course, serve homemade sausages in beer while they are hot and with salad.
500g of homemade sausages (of mangalica if possible)
1 young onion (spring onion)
2 dl (200 ml) of beer
700 g of young potato
1 big carrot
1 spoon of finely chopped parsley
Salt, pepper, dry spice
